I do my part
A little while ago, Joe Guada discovered that as a gay man, he's bringing on the end of Western civilization. Today at Video Meliora, I discover that I'm doing the same:
I am always struck by what must certainly be an absolute novelty of the twentieth century: we have a large and ever-growing class of single women, many of whom become completely established on their own in society and live into their 30s before they decide to find a mate and settle down...To summarize: whether a woman votes Democrat or Republican turns out to be massively correlated to whether she's married...Thus, the 20th century's creation of a large class of single women is both symptom and propagating cause of social dissolution. - Old Oligarch
Damn. With the future of society hanging in the balance, I'm going to be even more
nervous on dates.

Nice punchline! The obligatory disclaimer goes that comments on "Spanning the Globe" do not necessarily reflect the management. "Democrats are evil" was edited out, proving there are some standards at ye olde blog. And in fairness he went on to say, "Of course, men are culpable in this area of social dissolution too. If they weren't busy prolonging their adolescence well into their 30s..." [then you would have a mate?]
It's good to know that I'm not alone in bringing on the end of Western civilization. Welcome aboard! :)
The simplest solution seems to be for Camassia and Joe to marry each other. Two birds with one carat.
Camassia, you just gave me my "post of the day". Thanks!
What Tom said. How 'bout it, Joe? Do the right thing.
