Addendum

My pastor forwarded an email today that included a review of The Passion by a Dallas newswoman. If this is legit, it sounds like we got false information about the movie not including the resurrection, although it seems not to change the overall impression:

I told many of you that Gibson had reportedly re-shot the ending to include more "hope" through the Resurrection? That's not true. The Resurrection scene is perhaps the shortest in the entire movie - and yet it packs a punch that can't be quantified. It is perfect. There is no way to negotiate the meaning out of it. It simply asks, "Now, what will you do?"

Well, anyway, I think that's enough writing about a movie I haven't seen. Thanks for all the nice comments though.

I came across the discussion of Mel Gibson's movie Passion of Christ. Some argue it's anti-semitic. Now John Kerry is Jewish. The movie is said to be very intense and anti- Semitic and set to be a huge box office success. I was wondering if Dean and Edwards see the movie as a deus ex machina, that's going to destroy the Kerry candidacy and that's what they were waiting for and not so much Kerry's intern problem
