I mentioned in the last post the book that Telford and I blogged part of this summer, which includes Marcus Borg's claim that Jesus probably didn't know he was the Messiah while he was alive. Lynn is reading it now, and has more on that subject. She also discusses the chapters dealing with Jesus' trial and execution. Good stuff -- more learned than me, less wordy than Telford.;-)
