On the Telford front, he wrote me this morning with a good, if scary, excuse for his noncommunicativeness. Seems his little girl climbed to the roof of the van and then fell off, and had to be taken to the emergency room. She's bruised but OK. (I've seen the girl, and I've seen the van, and I'm having trouble figuring how she got to the roof. But kids are ingenious that way.) Meanwhile Lynn has an interesting looking post up addressing some of my historical-Jesus questions, and some commenters have suggested reading.

But frankly, it's just too darn nice a day here in west L.A. to sit at a computer. I'm going to sit out on the balcony with a mai tai, read a magazine, and hope the cat comes back. See ya!
